Ghatge Patil Transport Ltd has a spot at No. 363/2, right behind the Pushpavanam Hotel on Lalbagh Road. We are tucked into the 1st Cross on Siddaiah Road. This part of the city is always moving, with trucks and spare parts shops everywhere. Our office is right in the thick of it. It’s a practical place, built for work rather than looking good. We have a lot of people coming in and out all day, mostly drivers or people checking on their loads. The sound of engines is just part of the background here. Our desks are old and the chairs are a bit worn out, but they do the job. We keep a big ledger even though most things are on the computer now, just because it feels safer. The walls are a bit stained from years of use, and there’s always a stack of transport receipts waiting to be processed. We don't have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and helps. It’s a busy environment where things can get loud, especially when we’re trying to coordinate a delivery. We’ve been around for a long time and the locals know us. It’s just honest transport work, making sure things get from one place to another without too much trouble. It keeps us on our toes all through the week.
