General Motors Technical Center

The General Motors Technical Center is over in Bangalore at 5B, Shree Krishna Colony. We are on Gangamma Temple Road in Mahadevapura. This area, Bangalore-48, is always on the move. There are so many shops and houses all mixed together. Our building is right there in the middle of it. It’s not one of those glass towers you see in the tech parks. It’s a bit more modest and feels more like part of the local community. The temple road gets busy during festival times, and you can hear the bells and the music from the office. We have a good group of people working here. We just sit at our computers and work through whatever projects are on the go. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow or the water cooler breaks, but we just fix it and keep going. It’s a real place with real problems and real people. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families. The colony is a nice enough place, and we’ve gotten to know the people who work in the nearby shops. It’s a steady kind of life here at the technical center. We just focus on what’s in front of us. No one here is trying to be anything other than a hard worker in the neighborhood, just doing our part and staying busy.
