Our place is located at 16/1 in the S.P Complex on Lalbagh Road. It’s a busy part of the city, which is good for us. Gems Sensors And Controls has been operating out of this unit for a bit. The building isn't brand new, but it works for what we need. Lalbagh Road usually has a lot going on, so there's always noise from the street coming in through the windows. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and desks. We spend a lot of time looking at sensors and various control bits. It's not the kind of place where you’d come for a tour, it’s a working office and storage space. We try to keep track of everything, but sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk. That’s just life in a small business. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and someone is usually there to help you out. Most of the people who work here have been around for a long time. We know the regulars. It’s nice being in the S.P Complex because there are other businesses nearby too. It feels like a little community on this floor. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in. There’s always something to count or move around. It's honest work and we've gotten used to the rhythm of the place. We just stick to our corner on Lalbagh Road.
