Our office is right here on the 1st Main Road in Amarjyothi Layout, which is part of the Geddalahalli area of Sanjaynagar. If you’ve been around this part of Bangalore, you know how the traffic can get on the main stretches, but our corner is usually okay. We spend most of our mornings getting things organized in the office. It’s not a very big space, just No. 10, but it fits everything we need for the hospital aids we handle. Most days, it’s just us moving boxes around and checking the inventory lists to make sure everything is where it should be. The street outside has some trees, and you can hear the birds in the morning before the bikes start zooming by. We’ve been here for a while now, so the neighbors know us. Usually, someone is popping in to ask about a specific medical item or just to say hello. The desks are a bit cluttered with papers and coffee mugs, but that’s just how we work. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a bit of a hard time backing into the lane because it’s not the widest road, but we manage. We don’t have any fancy signs or anything, just a plain front where we do our daily business. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed while we sort through the latest shipments coming in from our suppliers.
