Gayathri Irrigation

Our shop is located at 486 Hanumanth Nagar, right on the corner of 8th Main Road and Tara Subbaroa Road. It is a busy intersection, so there is always something to look at out the window. We deal mostly with irrigation parts and things for the fields. You will see pipes and valves stacked up near the front door. We try to keep things organized, but when a big shipment comes in, the whole floor gets covered for a day or two. It’s just how it goes when you are busy. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so we all know each other well. We usually start the day early before the sun gets too hot. A lot of our customers come from outside the immediate city area, so they usually arrive with a list of things they need for their farms. We spend a lot of time looking through catalogs or checking the back room to see if we have a specific fitting in stock. Sometimes we have to tell people to wait a few days while we order something in. The office part is just a small desk in the corner with a calculator and some old notebooks. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. It is steady work and we like being in this part of Hanumanth Nagar. The tea guy comes by around four, which is usually the highlight of the afternoon for us and the customers too.
