Gawai Health Care

Gawai Health Care is right on the ground floor of number 47 on MM Road. If you are in Frazer Town, you probably know where the State Bank of Mysore is, or used to be. We are right next to that building. Being on the ground floor is lucky because nobody has to climb any stairs, which really helps the older people who visit us. The street outside is always full of life, especially with all the food spots nearby, so there is always a bit of a smell of kebabs in the air during the evenings. Inside, we keep it simple. There is a reception desk and the consultation rooms. We spend a lot of time checking files and talking to people about their health issues. It gets a bit crowded on Saturdays, so the waiting area fills up fast and people have to stand sometimes. We have got a couple of ceiling fans going to keep the air moving. Sometimes the noise from the heavy traffic on MM Road comes inside, but we are used to it by now. It is just part of being in this part of Bangalore. We keep some old magazines on the table, though I do not think many people read them anymore since everyone is looking at their phones. We just try to get through the day's appointments and make sure everyone gets seen. It is a busy little place, but we like the energy of Frazer Town.
