Garden View School

We’ve been here in Chikkana Layout for a while now. Most people around Shampura know where we are. It’s a busy spot in Devarajeevana Halli, but once you step inside the gates, it feels a bit different. We just go about our days teaching the kids and making sure they have a safe place to be while their parents are at work. The classrooms aren't fancy, but they do the job. You'll usually see teachers heading in early and some of us staying late to tidy up or get ready for the next morning. It gets quite loud when the bell rings and everyone is heading home, but that’s just how a school is. We don't have a huge campus, but there is enough space for the children to run around a bit during their breaks. Living and working in Bangalore means dealing with the traffic and the noise, so we try to keep things steady here. Parents often drop by to ask how things are going, and we try to have a quick chat if we aren't too busy. It’s a local place for local families. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. Just a school in the neighborhood where kids come to learn their lessons and spend time with their friends. We’ve seen many groups of students pass through over the years. It’s nice when older ones stop by to say hello.
