Gandhipark Primary School

Down in Koramangala, on Venkatapura Main Road, you’ll find Gandhipark Primary School. It’s right near the post office, so it’s easy for people to find. This part of Bangalore is always moving, but inside the school walls, it’s a different kind of energy. It’s a primary school, so it’s full of small children who are always running somewhere or asking questions. The building is tucked away at 54-48/1, and it’s been there for quite some time. We have a small playground area where the kids spend their time when they aren't in class. It’s not a huge space, but they make the most of it. The classrooms are filled with drawings on the walls and the smell of old paper. We don't have a lot of the high-end stuff that the newer schools in Bangalore have, but we have a group of teachers who show up every day and do their best. Sometimes the monsoon rains make things a bit difficult with the traffic and the dampness, but we just keep going. It’s a local school for local families. You’ll see the parents waiting outside at the end of the day, chatting with each other while they wait for their kids to come out. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of place. We don't try to be anything fancy; we just want to make sure the kids learn their basics and have a safe place to be while they grow up.
