G S Construction

G S Construction is based out of Doddanekkundi, specifically in A Wing at Tara Laxmi Jevanv 14. It’s a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, but it’s a good location for us. The office smells a bit like old paper and sometimes cement dust if we’ve brought samples back from a site. We have big tables where we spread out the blueprints, and there are always pencils rolling off the edges. It’s not a silent workplace; there’s usually a radio playing somewhere or someone shouting into a mobile phone about a delivery that’s late. We deal with the usual construction headaches like rain stopping work or machines breaking down. We don’t have a big marketing department, just us sitting here figuring out how many bricks we need for the next wall. The walls of the office could use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it because we’re too busy with other people’s buildings. Visitors usually find us by the big stacks of tiles near the entrance. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the long afternoons. It’s honest work, and we like being in this part of town. The commute can be a pain with the roadwork nearby, but we make it work. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep our clients happy without all the corporate talk. There is always a stack of invoices that needs signing.
