Our unit is out in the Ashapura Industrial Estate in Yelachenahalli. It is part of the GIDC Phase IV area. Being in an industrial zone means it is all about the work. We handle various supplies and enterprise needs. The surroundings are mostly other warehouses and small factories. It gets pretty dusty out here with all the trucks moving on the unpaved parts. Our building, Srivanayaka Nilaya, is easy to spot once you get into the estate. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking shipments. It is not a place for window shopping. Most people who come here are looking for something specific for their own businesses. We keep things moving as fast as we can. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. That is just life in an industrial area. We have a small office space but we are usually out on the floor. It is a practical environment. We have been operating here for some time now and know the local logistics well. We just try to stay organized among all the boxes and crates. It is a lot of heavy lifting and paperwork, but it keeps us going. The commute out here can be a bit long for some of the guys, but we are all used to the routine by now. We just get the work done and head home when the shift ends.
