We run the shipping franchise for FedEx and DHL over on Mission Road. You can find us at number 10, right at the 2nd Cross in the Raja Ram Mohan Ray Extension. We’re across from the Bangalore Institute of Oncology, so it’s a landmark most people recognize. Our shop is almost always filled with boxes of all shapes and sizes. It’s a busy place. People come in all day with packages they need to send across the country or overseas. We spend a lot of time weighing items, taping up boxes, and filling out customs forms. It can get a little hectic, especially right before the pickup trucks arrive in the evening. There isn't much room for sitting down because every corner is usually taken up by something waiting to be shipped. We’ve been at this location for a while, and we’ve seen all sorts of things come through the door, from documents to large machinery parts. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s just a counter, some scales, and a lot of shipping labels. The traffic on Mission Road can be a nightmare sometimes, but we’re used to it. We try to help people figure out the best way to pack their stuff so it doesn't break. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our feet all day long. We’ve been here long enough to know the regular delivery drivers by name.
