First Drive Motors Driving School

Our driving school is based out of No. 61 in Basavanagudi, right near the Bharathi Nursing Home. Bangalore is a city where you really need to know how to drive if you want to get anywhere on time, and we’ve been helping the local folks here in Karnataka for years. Being near a landmark like the nursing home makes us easy to find, which is good because the lanes in Basavanagudi can sometimes be a bit of a maze for newcomers. We focus on making sure people actually understand the mechanics of the car, not just how to pass a test. We spend a lot of time on the basics because that’s what saves you when the traffic gets bad. The atmosphere in our little office is pretty relaxed. We aren't big on formalities; we just want to get you on the road safely. Most of our students are from the surrounding neighborhood, so there’s a lot of chatting about local news while we wait for the next lesson to start. We keep our cars in good shape because they take a lot of abuse from beginners. It’s a practical business and we take it one student at a time. We don’t have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just want to make sure that when someone finishes our course, they can drive through Bangalore without being terrified. It’s simple work, but it’s important to us.
