Our place is down in the Bommasandra Industrial Area, specifically at 110-H in Gota Gam. If you know this area, you know it is all about manufacturing and heavy work. We are surrounded by other factories and the sound of machines is pretty much constant during the day. Fine Components & Tool is where we spend our time making various parts and tools that other companies need. It is a lot of metalwork and precision stuff, though the floor can get a bit messy with metal shavings. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for years. They know the machines inside and out. It is not the kind of place where you wear a suit. We are usually in our work clothes, checking measurements and making sure the lathes are running right. The commute to Bommasandra can be a bit of a headache with the highway traffic, but we are used to it now. We do not really do much advertising. Most of our orders come from long-term contracts or people who know our work in the industrial belt. We keep the machines oiled and the work moving. It is a practical business. We focus on the specs of the tools we are making and try to get the counts right before the truck comes to pick them up. Sometimes we stay late to finish a batch if the deadline is tight. That is just part of the factory life.
