Filling Station

Running the Filling Station here on Bund Garden Road is always interesting. Even though the address says Koramangala VI Bk, we’re located right here in Pune 33. It’s a place where people stop by to get something to eat and just take a break. I’m usually here from the morning until we close up late at night. The place gets a lot of different people, from office workers to students. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. It’s not a five-star hotel, it’s just a spot to grab a bite. I spend a lot of time checking the kitchen supplies and making sure the staff knows what they’re doing. Sometimes we run out of things unexpectedly, and I have to go out and get them myself. It’s a bit of a juggle. The tables are simple, and the menu is just stuff we like to make. I don’t go in for all that marketing talk. We just serve food and hope people like it enough to come back. The street outside can be a bit chaotic with traffic, but we’ve got our own little rhythm inside. It’s a lot of hours on my feet, but I’ve gotten used to it over the years. We’re just a local spot trying to keep everyone fed and happy. Nothing more to it than that. I usually finish my day by checking the locks and making sure the lights are off.
