About Fathima Puc & Teachers Training College For Women – Education in Bengaluru
Our place is over in Frazer Town at number 91/1, right on Coles Road. It is a very lively neighborhood with plenty of shops and people walking around at all hours. We focus on training women who want to be teachers or finish their PUC, so there is a lot of serious studying going on inside these walls. The building itself is older, with windows that look out onto the busy street below. You can hear the sounds of the traffic while you’re sitting in the classrooms, but you get used to it after a while. We don’t have a big fancy campus with grass and fountains. It’s a practical space where we make the most of what we have. The hallways are narrow and filled with the chatter of students during the breaks. Our staff stays busy managing the schedules and making sure everyone has what they need for their lessons. Sometimes we have to move furniture around to make space for a bigger group, and things can get a bit cluttered with all the teaching materials. It’s a real place where real work happens every day. Frazer Town has a lot of history, and we feel like we are a small part of that story now. We just keep our heads down and do the job, year after year, right here on Coles Road. This is what life is like at Fathima Puc and the training college.
