You can find Exide Slv Battery House over on Bannerghatta Road at number 13. We are in the Arekere area. The shop is full of batteries of all sizes, from small ones for bikes to the big ones for cars and inverters. It’s a bit heavy work, lifting these things all day, so we all have strong arms. The floor is concrete and usually has some marks from where we move the crates around. People usually show up when their car won't start, so they are often in a bit of a hurry or a bad mood. We just try to test the old battery and see if it can be saved or if they need a new one. We also do charging here if someone brings in a dead unit. It gets quite hot in the afternoons because the sun hits the front of the shop. We have a small fan but it doesn't do much. We aren't salesman types; we just know about lead and acid and how to get things running again. The traffic on Bannerghatta Road is pretty bad, so if you're coming here, it might take a while. We stay open late enough for people coming home from work. It’s a simple setup, just us and a lot of black plastic boxes filled with power. We have some old posters on the wall that have been there for years. It is not much of a view, but we are too busy to notice anyway. Most people just want to get back on the road as fast as possible.
