Exide Battery Nest

We run the Exide Battery Nest over in Sadashiv Peth, located at 327/328/10 in Vijaya Nagar. It’s a pretty small shop, but we pack a lot of batteries into the space we have. Most people come to see us when their car won’t start or their home inverter goes dead. It’s one of those businesses where people only show up when they have a problem, so we try to get them sorted out quickly. The shop floor is usually covered in heavy black boxes, and there's often the smell of lead and plastic. We spend a lot of time testing old batteries to see if they can be saved or if they’re just finished and need recycling. Sadashiv Peth is a crowded neighborhood with narrow streets, so getting a car parked right in front can be a bit of a struggle for our customers. We do our best to help them carry the heavy ones out to their vehicles or load them onto a bike. It’s just a few of us working here, and we’ve learned a lot about how these things work over the years. We don't have a big sales pitch for anyone. We just look at what’s wrong, tell you if you need a new one, and swap it out. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from morning until evening. The walls are lined with different models for bikes, cars, and bigger backup systems for houses.
