We are located on the 2nd floor of a building at No. 91, Domlur Layout, 5th Cross. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but once you’re here, it’s a decent space. We deal with export and import, so our day is mostly spent on the phone or on the computer tracking shipments. The office is usually cluttered with samples and shipping documents. We have a few desks pushed together and a small area where we keep the kettle for tea. Domlur Layout is a nice enough neighborhood, and it’s a bit quieter than being right on the main road. We can see the trees from our window, which is a nice break from the screen. Most of our work is about coordinating between different people and making sure things move from one place to another without too many problems. Sometimes there are delays at the port or paperwork gets stuck, and those are the stressful days. But mostly, it’s just a steady flow of work. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, one of us will just look up from our desk and say hello. We’ve been in this office for a while now and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of the building, like the way the door sticks in the rain. It’s a simple operation, run by people who just want to get the job done and go home.
