You can find us at 14 / 2, Brunton Road, which is just off the main M.G. Road area. It’s a very central spot, but Brunton Road itself is a bit quieter than the main drag. We’ve been here at EPCOS INDIA for a long time. The office has high ceilings and big windows, but we usually keep the blinds pulled to stop the glare on the monitors. We deal with electronic components, so there are always boxes of capacitors or other small parts sitting near the entrance. It’s a professional enough setup, but we don't go in for all that corporate talk. We just have a job to do. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know how the systems work. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts funny, so we just take the stairs. It’s good exercise anyway. We have our lunch together in the small breakroom, and we mostly talk about the cricket or what’s happening in the city. There isn't any fancy mission statement on the wall. We just focus on the orders and making sure the inventory counts are right. It’s a steady kind of work, and being so close to M.G. Road means there’s always a place to grab a bite after we finish for the day. We aren't doing anything fancy, just moving parts from one place to another and keeping the records straight.
