En Wood Industries

En Wood Industries is tucked away at 14519 Mavalli abhoi Road. We are pretty close to the Lalbagh Main Gate, so we hear the birds and see the people walking to the park on weekends. Our place is full of wood and sawdust. You can smell the cut timber as soon as you get near the door. It’s a small operation mostly. We handle all kinds of wood pieces and try to keep things organized but it's hard with so much stock. The road outside is usually busy with people heading toward the gate. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors know us by the sound of the saws. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy boards and moving things around the shop floor. My hands are usually covered in dust by noon. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. We just have the wood and the tools. Some days we just work on one big order and other days it’s lots of small bits. Mavalli is a good area, feels like an old part of town. We like being near Lalbagh because it feels a bit more open than the narrow streets further in. If you come by, just look for the wood stacked up. We’re usually inside working away until the sun goes down.
