We are located out at the 12th kilometer on Kanakapura Road, so it feels a bit tucked away from the main crush of the inner city. Most of the staff comes in on the bus or their scooters, and you can tell when they have arrived because of all the helmets lined up near the door. The work here is pretty technical since we handle dental crowns and all that stuff, so it involves a lot of sitting at benches with small tools and lights. It is not loud work, but it takes a lot of focus and steady hands. Sometimes you will walk through the floor and it is just the sound of someone tapping on a mold or the hum of a small motor in the corner. We are not really the type of place that has big meetings or corporate lunches. Usually, everyone just eats their tiffins together at the back table and talks about their kids or the commute. The building is functional and nothing more. We have windows that look out toward the road, and you can see the heavy trucks going by all day long. It gets a bit dusty being near the highway, so we are always wiping down the equipment. It is not a glamorous job, making things for people's teeth, but it is steady. We just focus on the tiny details because that is the job. At the end of the day, we head back home.
