Embark Travels

We’ve been running Embark Travels here at 10 Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar for a good while now, right near the Reliance Fresh. It’s a handy spot because everyone knows where that is. We spend most of our mornings dealing with tickets and looking at maps or train schedules. It gets a bit hectic when the holiday season comes around and the phone starts ringing non-stop. We aren't a big fancy operation, just a few of us sitting at desks with our computers and a lot of printed brochures scattered about. Sometimes the tea guy comes by twice because we forget we already had some. People walk in after doing their grocery shopping next door just to ask about flight prices or a bus to the next town. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the paperwork piles up on the corner desk. It’s mostly just us talking to people about where they want to go and trying to find a route that actually works. The office isn't very big and the chairs could probably use an upgrade, but it does the job for what we need. It's nice being in this part of town because it feels like a real neighborhood where people actually stop to talk. We usually close up when the sun goes down and head home like everyone else on this street. There’s always something to fix, like a slow printer or a light bulb that keeps flickering.
