We've been around the Kanakapura Papu Cottage area for a bit now. Our shop, Effkay Ceramics, sits right on the main road, not too far from Yediyer Lake if you know the area. People usually find us when they’re looking for tiles or bathroom stuff around 9 36 10. It’s a busy spot but we like it here. My family started this because we knew about clay and pottery, and it just grew into a regular business. We don't have a big fancy office or anything. It’s just us working every day, moving boxes and helping folks pick out what they need for their houses. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the stock, but that’s how it goes when you deal with ceramics. We try to keep things organized on the shelves so people can see what’s available without too much trouble. If you’re driving down from the lake side, you’ll see our sign. We keep the doors open most of the day. There’s always something to do, whether it’s checking the inventory or just cleaning up the front. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a steady shop that’s there when you need a specific tile or a sink. It’s simple work, really. Most of our regulars live just a few streets away. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still right here on the main road doing our thing.
