We are over here in the Cauvery Block, specifically in Room 91. It is a bit of a walk up if you are not used to the building layout in this part of Bangalore. Most days start around nine when the first few people trickle in to check the computers. We have been in this spot for a while now, right in the middle of Karnataka 560054. It is not a very big room, but we have enough desks to keep things moving. You can hear the traffic from the main road if the windows are open, which they usually are because it gets a bit stuffy with all the machines running. We mainly focus on teaching people the tech skills they need for work. It is nothing like those big corporate training centers you see on TV. It is just us and a bunch of monitors. Sometimes the internet acts up and we all have to wait a bit, so we just talk about what is happening in the city. The students are mostly local guys and girls looking to get a leg up. We keep the books on the shelves in the corner, though most stuff is digital now. It feels like a regular workplace where everyone knows each other. We do not have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just the room, the chairs, and the work we do every day. It is a steady life here in the block. We often stay late if a project is due.
