You’ll find us at Jnana Prabha, which is out in Virgonagar, Bengaluru. It’s a bit away from the main city rush, which is actually quite nice for the people staying here. Being a medical college, things can get pretty busy and serious, but we try to keep a decent atmosphere. The campus is spread out with various buildings for the different departments. We have the hospital side and the college side, so there are always people moving between the two. It’s a lot of walking for the students and the staff. The canteen is usually where everyone ends up meeting when there’s a break. It isn't a five-star setup, just basic food and plastic chairs, but it works for everyone. We have some trees around the grounds that give a bit of shade during the hot afternoons. The staff in the office handles a lot of paperwork every day, and sometimes there’s a bit of a wait if you need something specific. We don't use much fancy language when talking about what we do. It’s a place for learning about medicine and taking care of patients. Most of us live nearby or in the quarters provided. There’s always a bit of a buzz in the air, especially when the new batch of students arrives or during exam weeks. It’s just a functioning medical campus where everyone is trying to keep things running smoothly. There is always someone coming or going at all hours here.
