Durga Cargo Logistics

Chickpet is always a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. Our office, Durga Cargo Logistics, is over at No.4/5 on the 6th Cross, right near Rangaswamy Temple Street. It’s one of those spots where there’s always noise from the street vendors and people rushing to get their shopping done. We’ve got the temple nearby, so you can often hear the bells or smell the incense if the wind is right. The 6th Cross gets pretty packed with people moving goods back and forth on those small carts. Our space is right in the middle of all that action. It’s not a big shiny office, just a practical room with some shelves and a couple of tables. We’ve been operating out of this Chickpet location for quite some time. Dealing with cargo in such a tight area means you have to know the shortcuts and the best times to move things. Usually, mornings are a bit better before the crowd really builds up. We see a lot of the same faces every day, people working in the nearby textile shops or transport guys. It’s a busy life here in this part of town. Sometimes the traffic on Rangaswamy Temple Street is so bad you can’t even move a bike, but we manage somehow. It’s just how things work in this neighborhood. We stay until the last of the daily shipments is recorded and the shutters go down.
