We are located in Mayur Complex over in Peenya. It’s right near the Pai Bhavani temple on the KIADB Main Road. If you know this part of town, you know it’s mostly factories and industrial shops. It’s a bit dusty and there are always big trucks rumbling past the front door throughout the day. We handle a lot of parcels here. Every morning the van drops off a mountain of bags and we have to sort through every single one. It’s fast work and your hands get dirty from the cardboard pretty quick. The office isn't much to look at, just some counters and a lot of scales for weighing the packages before they go out. We have a lot of regulars who come in from the nearby manufacturing units to send out parts or documents. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around for it to come back, but mostly we are just scanning labels and taping up boxes that weren't closed right by the customers. It’s a busy spot. We don't have much time for small talk, but we know most of the people who come in every day. The fans keep the air moving, but it’s still pretty warm in the afternoons. We just focus on getting the mail out on time and making sure the labels are readable. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our feet from morning until we lock up at night.
