You can find us at Lahari Towers in Chamarajpet, right on 1st Main. The building is number 269. Chamarajpet has a certain feel to it, a bit old-fashioned and always very busy with local trade and people moving around. Our office is usually humming with the sound of tape dispensers and people shouting out zip codes to each other. We have a lot of cargo coming through here, not just small letters or envelopes. Some of the boxes are very heavy and we’ve all got sore backs from moving them around the floor. The space is a bit cramped because we try to fit as much as possible inside so nothing gets left out on the street. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we have a system that works for us and the customers. We spend a lot of time dealing with the logistics of getting things across the city and way beyond. Sometimes the heavy traffic on 1st Main makes it hard for the delivery bikes to get out on time, which is always a bit frustrating for everyone. We just do our best to keep things moving every day. There isn't any fancy furniture or a waiting lounge with magazines. It’s just a workspace for people who have things to send. We’ve been here a while and we know all the shortcuts and the regulars. It’s just a typical day of handling cargo and couriers for people around here.
