Dr Rudrappa Hospital

Dr Rudrappa Hospital is situated at 5 Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road. It’s a well-established spot in the area. The road is usually quite busy, so there is a lot of activity right outside the front doors. We’ve been operating out of this building for a long time now. It’s a proper hospital, so we have different sections for different needs. Dr Rudrappa is the name on the door and that’s who people come to see. The interior is functional, nothing too stylish, just a lot of white walls and medical equipment. We have a lot of staff coming in and out at different shift changes. It can feel a bit hectic during the peak hours in the morning. Patients come from all over this part of the city because Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road is pretty central. We don't spend a lot of time on fancy brochures or anything. We just focus on the people waiting in the hall. Some have been coming to this hospital for years, and now they bring their kids here too. It’s just one of those local institutions that has become part of the background of the neighborhood. We keep the doors open and just take things one patient at a time. It’s a lot of paperwork and a lot of walking up and down the halls, but it’s a steady way to spend the day. We are just here doing the work that needs doing.
