Doctor On Call (Invalid)

We are based right in the middle of the city at Bangalore GPO, specifically on the 5th floor of No.32 on 2nd Main. If you are looking for us, the easiest way to find the building is to look for the Pizza Hut; we are directly above it. Being on the 5th floor gives us a bit of a view of the busy streets below, though we spend most of our time looking at computer screens or answering the phones. The lift in this building is one of those old ones that takes its time, so some of us just end up taking the stairs if we’re in a hurry. The office is a standard layout with cubicles and a small pantry in the corner where the kettle is always on. Since we’re in the GPO area, the traffic is absolutely constant, and the sound of horns definitely makes it up to our floor. It’s a very central spot, which is great for logistics but a bit of a pain for anyone trying to find a parking spot for a car. Most of the staff here take the bus or the metro because it’s just easier. We deal with calls and coordination all day, so it’s usually quite loud inside with everyone talking at once. It’s not the most modern office in Bangalore, but it serves its purpose for our daily operations. We just show up, do the shifts, and head back into the GPO crowd.
