Parimala Towers is a big building and we are right there at No. 64 Jalahalli Camp Cross. Being just off MES Road in Yeshwanthpur means there is never a quiet moment. The traffic outside is constant. Dmg Deckel Maho Gildmaster (India) Pvt Ltd is the name on the door, but we usually just call it the office. We deal with some pretty complex machinery. Most of it comes from overseas designs. Our job is to make sure the local shops can actually use these things. It involves a lot of technical talk and looking at screens. The office has big windows, but mostly we’re looking at manuals or talking to someone on the phone about a spindle or a controller. It’s a lot of coordination. We have a small pantry where the tea is usually too sweet, but nobody complains much. The commute to Yeshwanthpur can be a nightmare if you don't leave early. We’ve got a mix of young guys who are good with the new software and older staff who know the mechanical side by heart. It’s a good balance. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. We just handle the technical support and sales for these machines. It keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the power cuts out and we just sit and talk until the generator kicks in. It’s just another day at the towers. We keep things simple and try to help the customers who call in.
