Down here at 187 Akkipet Main Road, things are always moving. We are located right near Ashwath Katte, which is a busy little spot in Bangalore. Driving around here isn't always easy because the lanes can get tight and there are always scooters zig-zagging around. We’ve been helping folks from the local area learn how to handle a steering wheel for quite some time now. Our cars are out on the road from early morning until the sun goes down. We don't do anything fancy; we just sit with the students and show them how to navigate the traffic without getting flustered. Most people who come to us live nearby or work in the shops around Akkipet. The office is a bit small and gets a lot of dust from the street, but it’s where we keep the registers and the learner manuals. We spend a lot of time explaining the gears and how to park in tight spaces, which is a necessary skill in this city. It’s a practical job, and we take it one day at a time. You can usually find one of us standing near the Ashwath Katte tree waiting for the next student to show up for their hour. We just focus on getting people comfortable enough to pass their test and drive on their own. There’s no big secret to it, just practice and staying calm behind the wheel.
