A & T Mercantile Exports Co. is set up on Dinnur Road over by the R. T. Nagar Post area. It’s a decent spot, though the traffic on Dinnur Road can be a real headache in the afternoons. We handle a variety of goods here, mostly stuff that needs to be shipped out. Our workspace is pretty simple. We have a main area where we pack things and a small corner for the paperwork. There isn't much to say about it other than it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. We aren't corporate people. We wear regular clothes and get our hands dirty when a pallet needs moving. The R. T. Nagar Post is close by, which helps with the smaller packages we send out. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and we have to make sure the roof isn't leaking near the inventory. We’ve patched it a few times already. It’s just us and a couple of helpers most days. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the news while we work. It’s a small operation, but we stay busy enough to keep the lights on. We don't have a big sign out front, just the name on the door in small letters. People who need us usually know where to find us. It’s a straightforward life, packing boxes and checking lists on Dinnur Road. We just keep our heads down and get the tasks done one by one until it’s time to go home.
