We are located over at Lalbagh Road, specifically in the 4th Cross area near KS Garden. If you know Bangalore, you know this part of town gets really congested with trucks and traffic. We’ve got a simple office at number 119/6. It’s a practical space because we spend more time worrying about what’s happening on the road than what the office looks like. Most of our day involves talking to drivers and making sure the loading is happening on time. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things don’t go according to plan, like a truck breaking down or a delay at a checkpost. We just deal with those things as they come up. We don’t use any complicated systems, just old-fashioned hard work and keeping track of our routes. The neighborhood is full of similar businesses, so there is always someone around who knows the industry. We’ve been here for a while and the staff mostly consists of people who have been with us for years. We aren't interested in being a giant corporation. We just want to make sure the goods get to their destination and the drivers get home safe. It’s a noisy, dusty environment but it feels like home to us. We keep the kettle going for tea and try to stay on top of the schedule every single day. There’s always another load to move and another route to plan before the sun goes down.
