Difacto Robotics & Automation Pvt. Ltd. is situated at 2/B, 23rd Main Marenahalli in JP Nagar, II Phase. JP Nagar is a pretty green part of Bangalore, though the traffic on the main roads can be a real headache some afternoons. Our building is a straightforward place where we focus on robotics. It is full of mechanical arms, sensors, and computers. It is not like a regular office where people just sit at desks; there is a lot of moving around and tinkering with hardware. The floors are usually covered in marking tape and cables. We have been here for a bit, and the neighborhood has changed around us, but we just keep doing our thing. The staff is a mix of young engineers and some older hands who have seen it all. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls, just some calendars and technical drawings. Lunch is usually a quick affair, sometimes we go out to the small eateries nearby or just eat at the desks. It is a lot of hard work because robots can be stubborn when they don't want to follow the code. We spend a lot of time debugging and testing until things move the way they should. It is a busy, slightly messy environment, but it is where we feel most comfortable. We just enjoy the challenge of making things move.
