Dhanalakshmi Driving School

Our place, Dhanalakshmi Driving School, is located on Hongasandra Begur Main Road at number 96/2. If you’ve been around this part of Bangalore lately, you know how much the traffic has grown. We spend most of our mornings and evenings sitting in the passenger seat, watching students try to navigate the potholes and the bikes. It’s a busy road, so it’s actually a good place to learn if you want to get used to real city driving. The office is just a simple room where we keep the records and the learner's signs. We don't have a big team or anything, just a couple of us who take the cars out for lessons. Sometimes the cars get quite dusty from the construction work nearby, so we have to wash them down more often than we’d like. People come in asking about the costs and how many days it will take to get their license from the RTO. We tell them it depends on how quickly they pick up the steering control. It’s a lot of sitting and waiting, especially when the traffic on Begur Main Road just stops for no reason. We’ve seen many people go from being scared of the ignition to driving confidently on their own. It’s just what we do here at 96/2. We don’t do much advertising, mostly just people seeing our cars or walking past the shop on their way to work.
