You can find us right on the 24th Main Road in J P Nagar 2nd Phase. It’s a very busy part of Bengaluru, so there is always the sound of traffic and horns outside. The dental college is a place where there is a lot of practical work going on. You see students in their lab coats walking around with models of teeth or clinical kits. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the different departments for surgery or check-ups. I work at the desk, and I see patients coming in all day for various tooth problems. It’s not a quiet office environment at all. There is a lot of cleaning and sterilizing going on constantly. The students are usually pretty stressed about their clinical requirements, so they spend a lot of time in the labs until late. We have a small area where staff can have their lunch, but it’s usually a quick affair because there is always something to do. The building is number 78/B, and it’s pretty easy to spot if you are driving down the main road. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do; it’s just a place to learn dentistry and treat people who have toothaches. Bengaluru weather is usually good, but the 2nd Phase gets really crowded in the evenings. We just keep the clinic running and make sure the students have what they need for their practice. It's a busy, functional place for learning.
