Dairy Science College

We are situated over in Hebbal, on the Kvafsu campus. It is a bit different than being in the middle of a busy commercial market. Here at the Dairy Science College, things are a little more spread out and there is a lot more greenery than you would find in the city center. You can usually find us by looking for the main campus entrance and following the signs for the dairy department. The buildings are built for purpose, with classrooms and labs that have seen a lot of students pass through them over the years. The air in Hebbal is a bit fresher, which we all appreciate. The name of the place is straightforward because that is exactly what we focus on—the science of dairy. It is not just about books, though. There is a lot of hands-on stuff happening every day. The halls can be quiet during lecture times and then suddenly fill up with people as soon as the bell rings. We have some old benches outside where people sit and talk, and the whole place has a bit of an academic but relaxed vibe. We do not go in for fancy decorations or marketing brochures. The work we do here speaks for itself. It is about learning and doing the job right. Whether it is early morning milk testing or late-afternoon study sessions, there is always something going on. It is a good community to be a part of.
