Our office is located in the Cowell Manzil Building right on M G Road. We are on the ground floor, which is very helpful because there are no steep stairs to climb with heavy files. We are situated directly opposite the Woodland shop, so that is how most people find their way to us. The Camp area is always a crowded place, especially on the weekends when everyone is out doing their shopping. D Philips & Company has been in this particular spot, Survey No 304/5, for a very long time. The building is one of those old ones with high ceilings and thick stone walls. It stays relatively cool inside even when the sun is beating down on the street outside. We have a lot of old wooden desks and metal cabinets that have been here since we first started. It is a busy atmosphere with people constantly coming in and out from the main road. You can always hear the motorbikes and the chatter of the street through our front door. We handle all our daily business right here, mostly just paperwork and meeting with clients who stop by for a chat. We do not have any flashy signs or modern furniture. It is just a functional and basic workspace in a very old part of Pune. We know the other shop owners around here and it feels like a small community.
