We are based right out of Sun City Road, specifically at number 403, near the main Bannerghatta Road. If you know this part of Bangalore, you know the traffic is something you just have to live with. We spend most of our hours sitting in cars, watching people try to figure out how to change gears without making the car jump. It is a lot of patience, really. The office at 403 is where we do all the scheduling and talk to people about their learner's permits. It is a small space, nothing fancy at all. We have some old chairs and a desk covered in forms. Outside, the road is always busy with buses and trucks heading towards the city or out towards the park. Teaching someone to drive here means they get used to the chaos pretty quickly. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot and the roads get totally jammed. Our cars have seen a lot of miles, but we keep them in good shape. It’s a local business through and through. We know the RTO officers and the local mechanics who help us out when something breaks. It isn't a glamorous job, sitting in traffic all day, but it’s what we’ve been doing for years. People come to us because we are right here in their neighborhood and we know these specific roads better than anyone else does.
