I’ve been sitting in this small office on R V Road for a good number of years now. Most days start early because that is when the roads in Bangalore are actually quiet enough to teach someone how to use a clutch without them panicking. We are right here at 8/2, near B Gudi, and the traffic outside just keeps getting heavier. You see all sorts of people walking in. Some are kids just turning eighteen who think they know everything, and others are older folks who finally decided it’s time to stop taking the bus. It gets dusty with the windows open, but that’s just how it is. We spend most of the day in the car, circling around the blocks and trying to make sure nobody hits the curb. The office itself is nothing special, just some chairs and a desk where we handle the paperwork. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three people show up at once for their slots. We don't have fancy waiting rooms or anything like that. It is just a place to learn. I usually have my tea while waiting for the next student to show up. We know the local traffic police and the shopkeepers around here pretty well. It’s a simple living. If you are looking for us, look for the sign near the corner. We try to be patient, even when the traffic on R V Road makes it hard to stay on schedule.
