Corti Hearing Clinic

We are located in Tawakkal Chambers, which is right on MM Road in Frazer Town. If you know where Riches Restaurant is, we are basically right across from them, so the smell of food is often wafting over here in the afternoons. It’s an old part of town, near where the Ashoka Theatre used to be, and it has a lot of character. Our clinic, Corti Hearing Clinic, is on the third floor. The hallway is a bit narrow and the lighting isn't the brightest, but once you get inside our space, it’s clean and organized enough for what we do. We see all kinds of people, from young kids to very old grandparents who are struggling to hear the television. We have our testing booths set up in the back where it’s quietest. Most of our day is spent calibrating machines or explaining how a hearing aid works for the tenth time that morning. We don’t use a lot of big words or complicated medical talk here. We just try to be practical. The traffic outside on MM Road is always a mess, especially on weekends, so we usually tell people to give themselves extra time to find a spot to park. It’s a busy neighborhood, but we like being in the middle of it all. The office usually stays open until the last patient is seen, which can be late sometimes, especially during the busy season.
