About Command Hospital Airforce – Medical & Healthcare in Bengaluru
Working at Command Hospital Airforce over by P. O. Agram means getting used to the quirks of an older building. The elevators are known for being a bit temperamental, so most of us just use the stairs to get where we’re going. It’s a good way to stay active, even if it leaves you a bit winded by the third floor. We have these massive metal filing cabinets that make a loud clanking noise whenever you slide the drawers open or shut. The staff is a good mix of people who have been here for decades and some younger folks who are still learning the ropes. We have a small canteen that serves a pretty decent lunch, though the line gets long if you don’t get there right at noon. The area around the P. O. Agram is a bit quieter than the main roads, which we all appreciate. Sometimes a stray cat wanders into the courtyard and we leave a bit of food out for it. The floors are kept very clean, and you can often see the reflection of the overhead lights in the tiles. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just a few old posters about health and safety. The windows in the back office look out over some trees, which is nice when you need a break from looking at the computer. It’s a straightforward job in a straightforward place. We just focus on getting through the paperwork and helping the people who come in.
