About Command Hospital Air Force – Medical & Healthcare in Bengaluru
We’ve been at Command Hospital Air Force on Old Airport Road for quite some time now. The morning commute is always a bit of a challenge with the traffic, but you get used to it after a while. The building is a big, sprawling place with plenty of long hallways that seem to go on forever. It’s mostly concrete and glass, nothing too fancy. We see a lot of people in uniform every day, which is just part of the routine here. The desks are usually piled high with various forms and folders that need sorting. Sometimes the coffee machine in the small breakroom acts up, and one of us has to give it a little shake to get it working again. The trees outside the main entrance are tall and provide some nice shade when the sun is particularly harsh. We have these old chairs in the waiting area that have seen better days, but they’re still sturdy enough. When it rains, you can hear it drumming against the roof, which is actually quite a relaxing sound during a busy shift. We try to keep things moving as best we can, but there’s always a lot to do. It’s not a corporate office with polished floors and high-tech gadgets. It’s just a practical place where people show up to do their jobs. We know each other's names and usually have a bit of a chat over tea in the afternoons. It feels like home after being here so long.
