Comet Environs Pvt. Ltd. is located in the Peenya Industrial Estate, which is a massive area on the edge of the city. Specifically, we are at No. V-34/B on the 7th Main, 2nd Stage. Peenya is known for being loud and dusty, and our spot is no different. You’ll see a lot of heavy vehicles passing by all day long, carrying raw materials or finished products. Our building is a simple industrial structure. It’s got high ceilings and big doors to let the breeze in when it’s hot. We spend our days dealing with various environmental equipment and parts. The yard outside often has some scrap metal or old containers waiting to be moved. Inside, it’s a bit more organized, though there’s always a fine layer of dust no matter how much we sweep. The staff here is used to the industrial lifestyle. We start our shift with a quick talk about the day’s schedule and then everyone gets to their station. There’s a small area where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for the afternoon break. It’s not a glamorous place, but it’s where the real work happens. We’ve lived through many seasons here, watching the rain pour off the corrugated roof during the heavy storms. We don’t have a lot of visitors, but when we do, they usually just walk straight into the work area because we don't have a separate waiting room. It’s just how things are.
