College Admin

We are set up in JP Nagar 5th Phase in Bangalore. The office is on the 22nd Main Road in Shammana Garden, number 7. We are near 17 A Cross. Being in college admin means there’s never a dull moment. We have piles of papers regarding student registrations and schedules sitting on every surface. The office is tucked away in a spot that’s easy to miss. Bangalore weather is usually okay but the rain sometimes makes the commute a mess. We have a few computers that have seen better days but they still work for what we do. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and talk to whoever is at the front desk. It’s a practical environment. We deal with everything from syllabus updates to faculty meetings. Sometimes it feels like we are drowning in emails but we get through them eventually. We’ve got a small kitchen area where we make tea. Most of the staff has been here for years. We know many of the students by name usually. It’s a community feel even if it’s just an administrative office. We focus on getting the tasks finished every day. Nothing more to it than that. Just simple work in a busy part of Bangalore. We like it here just fine. It is a good place to spend the day and we keep things moving as fast as we can.
