Christ Pu College Residential

Way out on Mysore Road in Kanminike, you’ll find us at Christ Pu College Residential. Being in Kumbalgodu means we’re a bit removed from the main city center, which is actually nice for a residential school. It’s a big place because the students live here, so our work doesn’t really stop when the classes end. We’re often dealing with hostel issues, making sure the canteen has enough food, and checking that the dorms are in good shape. The main office is usually a hub of activity with parents visiting or students coming in with questions about their schedules. It’s a practical environment, and we don't spend much time worrying about looking fancy. We have plenty of dusty shelves filled with books and old records. The grounds are large, so we do a lot of walking back and forth between the different buildings. It gets quiet at night, which is a big change from the noisy mornings. We handle everything from leaky pipes in the residential blocks to organizing the evening study sessions. It’s a lot to manage, and things don’t always go perfectly, but we just keep at it. We aren't here to give you a sales pitch. We just provide a place where students can live and go to school without having to commute every day. It’s a busy, functional place that keeps all of us occupied from sunup to sundown.
