Chitra Clinic

Chitra Clinic has been part of Cox Town for quite some time now. We are located at number 47 on Charles Campbell Road. If you know where Manoj Medicals is, we are very close to that. Cox Town has that old Bangalore feel to it, and our clinic fits right in with that. It is a modest building. We handle basic medical consultations and general health issues. People from the surrounding streets usually just walk over when they are not feeling well. We are not a big hospital, just a small local clinic. The waiting room has a few chairs and some old magazines. It gets a bit cramped when three or four families show up at once. We try to keep things friendly and relaxed. The road outside can be a bit narrow, so parking is sometimes a headache for people driving in. Most of our regulars just come on foot anyway. We have seen kids grow up and bring their own kids here over the years. We do not use any fancy computer systems for everything; we still like our paper records for a lot of things. It is more personal that way. We just aim to be a reliable place for the neighbors to get a checkup. Nothing more, nothing less. Just a doctor and a small staff trying to keep the community healthy. It is quiet most afternoons, but mornings are usually a bit more frantic here.
