Chinmayi Institute Foundation

Chinmayi Institute Foundation is located out at Doddabyalakere, specifically at number 7 with the katha number 998/7. If you are coming from the main parts of Bangalore, it feels like quite a journey, but once you get here, it’s much more peaceful. The office is managed by Hemnath Kumar and a few others who keep things running day to day. We don’t have a huge staff, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to filing papers. The building is simple and reflects the quieter nature of the Doddabyalakere area. We spend a lot of time on the paperwork that comes with running an institute foundation. It’s not always exciting, but it’s the work that needs doing. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow out here, which can be frustrating, but we manage. We have a small area where we sit and have our meals together, usually talking about local news or what’s happening in the neighborhood. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't have fancy office furniture or high-tech gadgets, just the essentials to get our tasks done. Being away from the city’s constant noise allows us to focus a bit more on what’s in front of us. It’s a practical, no-nonsense setup that works well for the small group of us who are here every day. We finish up, lock the gate, and head out before it gets too dark on the roads.
