Chinmaya Mission Hospital

This hospital has been sitting right on CMH Road in Indira Nagar for as long as most people can remember. It’s a big building and it’s pretty hard to miss if you are driving down that way. Most days, the area out front is packed with autos and people trying to find their way inside. We don’t really do anything flashy here. It’s just a lot of doctors and nurses going about their shifts. The hallways can get a bit narrow when it’s crowded, especially near the pharmacy area. We’ve got a lot of different sections for different medical needs, so there is always someone walking around looking for a specific room. The tea stall nearby gets a lot of business from the people waiting here. It’s just a busy, functional place that serves the local community. The morning hours are usually the most chaotic with the outpatient lines. We try to keep the benches in the waiting area clean, but with so many people coming through, it’s a constant task. Indira Nagar has changed a lot over the years with all the new shops and cafes, but the hospital just stays the same. We have people coming in from all parts of the city because of the location. It’s not the quietest place to work, but it feels like a real part of the neighborhood. We just focus on getting through the daily list of patients and making sure the records are updated. Sometimes the wait can be a bit long when things get backed up.
